Personal Assistants to the Managers - Volunteers needed to assist with office administration and the day to day running of the Centre. Duties include welcoming visitors to the Centre at reception, answering the phone, maintaining Centre records, keeping databases up to date, helping to produce in-house posters and leaflets and editing the Centre newsletter. Minimum commitment 2 hours per week. IT skills needed and a pleasant friendly manner. Suitable for a student placement.

Volunteer ESOL Teacher - to help with a team of tutors to deliver our Community ESOL for Integration class. This is an enrichment led class working with refugees and asylum seekers enabling integration through discussion, participation and English language learning. This position is excellent for new ESOL teachers, people interested in taking an ESOL or other teachiong qualification and for people who are returning to teaching. Times and days are flexible. We are looking at around 1 or 2 2 hour sessions in a week. The class starts at 10.00. Please contact Andy if you are interested.

Mini Project Leaders - Do you have a skill that you would like to share? Would you like to lead a group of individuals and introduce them to your skill and have fun?
We are looking to enrich the lives of our clients by introducing new activities to our Centre. This could be anything from a presentation to a workshop to a lesson and it could be in any skill area from playing a musical instrument, being a police officer, presenting art, cooking, sports, gardening or indeed anything as diverse as you can offer.

Gardener - To look after a small plot in the park grounds outside the Centre and encourage a small group of refugees and asylum seekers to participate in its care.
