Speaking, Listening and Movement Classes

We are committed to improving the language and communication skills of learners through the creative media of arts, drama and IT as well as regular classroom teaching.

This class offers a chance to practice and improve speaking in English. All levels of ability are welcome. The workshop-style sessions aim to build confidence using the spoken word. Previous groups have performed short sketches or songs to the rest of the Centre using a mixture of languages.

The classes are facilitated by actors Elif Tumay and David Schneider.

People who have been refused asylum and have difficulty accessing English classes are especially welcome to attend this class.
